Should what is out of sight always be out of mind?

Since I have acquired a DVR and HBO along with it, I have been trying to reap the most benefits recording any program that is even remotely interesting to me. When I saw that Waiting to Exhale was to come on, I excitedly set to record it. I had remembered it being a "chick flick" but one with a bit more cerebral with well developed strong female leads and excellent acting. The movie seems a bit dated in some ways, as I now see it through adult eyes with adult experiences of my own to draw from. The stories that the film chronicles are perennially relevant.
